It’s the biggest lawn bowls festival in the world, held on none other than the Gold Coast – the “lawn bowls capital of Australia”.
Over 4500 matches and a host of categories – culminating in knockout quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals – make the Australian Open Bowls an unmissable event for lawn bowls enthusiasts.
This year will be no different, comprising Men's and Women’s Singles, Pairs and Fours, Over 60s Men’s and Women’s Pairs, U18 Boy’s and Girl’s Singles, plus Vision Impaired Pairs and Bowlers with a Disability Singles and Pairs.
13 lawn bowls clubs will host the action daily (morning and afternoon), with a mouth-watering total prize purse of $275,000.
