The Green Day Out is an award winning environmental festival that aims to celebrate the environment as well as the people and all living creatures that make up the spectacular region. The festival features sustainable products and services that promote eco-friendly lifestyle options. Green Day Out is also keen on promoting individual and collective efforts to conserve, restore and protect the natural environment. Formerly known as “the do”, Green Day Out festival seeks to raise awareness on environment conservation and sustainability. Green Day Out is also a part of the United Nations’ World Environment Day annual celebrations. The festival was founded in 1999 and organized by Gecko – Gold Coast Hinterland Environment Council. The festival continues to attract more people that strongly believes and promotes environment conservation.
Happening on the 12 June 2011 at picturesque Kurrawa Park in Broadbeach, Green Day Out will be an eventful holiday filled with great entertainment and fun activities for the whole family.
