Do you know what your kids will enjoy? A trip to a theme park. And you’re lucky because visiting the Gold Coast in October will be fun!

Gold Coast is known for having world-class theme parks that provide unique experiences during their annual events. Sea World Gold Coast is a marine mammal park and an oceanarium. Do your kids love the ocean and sea creatures? They will be able to enjoy the animal exhibits and encounters here.

But that is not all! This Halloween, they can have even more fun.

Spooky Nights at Sea World

Sea World Spooky Nights return on October 8 to 29, every Friday and Saturday. After-hours family event at the theme park!

It begins at 5:30 p.m. and turns Sea World into a mysterious land. Discover incredible precincts, activities, shows and presentations, and nighttime rides. This year’s Spooky Nights features 28 attractions, beginning with the precincts.

Precincts

Don’t be afraid to explore these six precincts because each has something unique.

Are your kids SpongeBob fans? There are SpongeBob-themed rides at Nickelodeon Land. Do you want to meet some vegetarian vampires and mummies? They gather on the ground in front of their Monster Mansion.

The Pirate Grotto’s motley crew of pirates will gladly welcome you for some singing, laughter, and fun. What about a spooky light and sound party? Visit the Ghostly Groove Plaza and dance to the music of Princess Spinderella, the ghostly DJ.

Would you like to go on an adventure? See what’s going on beneath the waters of The Black Lagoon. For an interactive adventure playground, visit Shipwreck Bay, home to a motley crew of misfit pirates.

Spooktivities

Spooky Nights offers eight activities for kids. Start with Captain Blue Beard at the shipwreck in the centre of Ghostly Groove Plaza. Say hello and take a photo with him. You can also interact with SpongeBob ScaredyPants and Patrick Star. It is the only time you can see a Nickelodeon duo dressed up for Halloween.

There are also free activities, such as joining DJ Princess Spinderella, entering the Ghostly Groove Dance Floor, and the Monster House. If you’re looking for a paid experience, check out Spooky Nights’ Trick’n’Treasure Trail + Boo Crew Bowl, Trick’n’Treasure Pumpkin Trail, and Trick’n’Treasure Trail. You’ll have a map to help you find the treasures, but keep an eye out for monsters along the way! Collect your candies by visiting each station throughout the park.

Shows & Presentations

Don’t miss the Monster Mayhem Lightshow or the Affinity Dolphin Presentation in the evening.

The Monster Mayhem Lightshow, brought to life by the most incredible monsters in town, ignites the Sea World Spooky Lake with colourful lights, funky beats, and ghoulishly good fun. Also, watch as the beautiful exhibit lights up for an unforgettable spectacle featuring one of the world’s most intriguing animals, the dolphin, in the Affinity Theatre.
